One team, one building

Planning a wedding from thousands of miles away is hard when the venue, the caterer and the hotel are three different businesses across the city. At Darbar, the hall, the kitchen and the hotel are in one building. The banquet hall is on the rooftop, the kitchen with its 35 chefs cooks on site, and Regency Suites, with 18 suites, is downstairs.

You deal with one banquet team for the event, and the hotel team works alongside them for your family's rooms.

Families abroad cannot always visit in person before booking. Ask our team for a video walk-through on WhatsApp and we will show you the indoor hall, the open rooftop and the see-through kitchen, and answer your questions as we go. Relatives in Lahore are also welcome to visit on your behalf.

Room for your whole guest list

The indoor hall seats 300 guests and the open rooftop holds 150 more, so up to 450 guests can attend at once. Families can hold the mehndi on the rooftop, the baraat in the hall and the walima in whichever space suits the guest list, all at the same venue.

Your family stays downstairs

Relatives flying in from abroad can stay at Regency Suites in the same building, with breakfast available, free parking and WiFi. Elders avoid late-night drives across Lahore, children can rest between events, and everyone is together for the week. Planning on your timezone

WhatsApp works across timezones, so you can send questions in your evening and find replies in the morning. Menus, guest numbers, dates and timings can all be agreed in writing, which gives you a clear record to share with family. A 50% advance holds your date, with the balance due two weeks before the event.

Near Lahore's wedding shopping

Liberty Market, one of Lahore's main wedding shopping areas, is 2 minutes from the venue, and MM Alam Road is 5 minutes away. Relatives arriving early can shop for outfits, jewellery and gifts without long journeys, then rest downstairs before the events begin.

Many overseas families also like to hold a small welcome dinner for relatives arriving from abroad. Darbar's rooftop or a section of the hall can host a smaller gathering on the evening guests land, with the banquet team planning it alongside the main events.
